Q) Do you have any regrets about your time on "Project Runway?"

A) I think one thing I didn't do was go with your instinct, with your aesthetic. That's probably your saving grace with everything. I wished that I had done more of what they liked on my rack, which is more me, what got me on. I think I should've stuck with what I do best.

Q) It seemed like the hole in your dress was a pivotal reason for you leaving the show.

A) Yes. When I split that hole, I looked at it and I thought, "Wow, this hole could possibly be my downfall." The hole was the size of a canyon. I chopped off the top of the dress completely. And this is 20 minutes till runway — 20 minutes! And I made a block, kind of squared, flouncy top in 20 minutes.

Q) Did you think that you might be the one to go home or did you have hope you'd be sticking around?

A) I think the best approach in my brain was, "Okay, think worst-case-scenario that you’re going home," so I didn’t have a complete meltdown when I left.

Q) What did you think of your time on the show?

A) Overall, I really enjoyed it. I love the designers. Everybody has a really strong personality and they're really funny. We were laughing a lot. ... It was a great experience.

Q) What did you think of the Gunner and Christopher drama?

A) I feel like there’s a love-hate relationship with them. I think they did like each other, but they almost were a lot alike — it was like a love-hate thing. Very passionate.

Q) Who do you think will win "Project Runway?"

A) I think it's too early. I definitely think I have a top 3, but for the most part I think it's still anybody's bag right now. I've got a top 4, I guess!

Q) What was your favorite moment from your time on the show?

A) Meeting Tim Gunn was an awesome moment," she says. "I think he brings so much to the show and you really do trust his opinion. He just always has a great approach to everything. A really great vibe.

Q) What do you think of the designers who left without a word?

A) I don't know anything about anybody leaving. At this time, I'm already off, so I've pretty much accepted it by now.

Q) What was the best piece of advice you received while on the show?

A) I think one thing that I didn’t do was “Go with your instinct to keep with your aesthetic.” That is probably your saving grace with everything.

Q) What can we expect next from you?

A) Right now I have my line GG Collective. I’m really excited to get back in designing. I completed winter and now I’m doing spring with these beautiful bold jewel sweater prints, and I’m doing some really fun chiffon prints blocked with my knits, so I’m really excited to go back to it. GG Collective is my baby and now I’m getting out there with it.
